Nock-Ten, which remains very week, is now making landfall just to the south of Hanoi in Vietnam. The storm did make landfall on Hainan, the island just to the south of mainland China. Little to no damage has been associated with this system, and the storm has largely been a rainmaker. Moisture from Nock-Ten will likely make it's way into northern Laos and nearby areas of China later today and into tomorrow.
