Muifa has weakened substantially, but still maintains winds at over 70 mph or 115 km/h. Fortunately the storm will only graze Shanghai, before continuing northward along the coast. Rough surf, heavy rain and even strong winds are likely along the coast. Very little, in terms of impacts, are expected over the interior of China. Muifa will make landfall, most likely in Shandong province, probably on Monday. The storm will continue northward over the Yellow Sea, before making landfall again somewhere along the Manchurian coast.
