Ma-on is an extremely powerful typhoon, currently in the western Pacific Ocean. The storm is making it's way due west. Winds are now topping out at 131 mph, or 212 km/h and that could increase over the next day or two. Current forecasts show the storm, sliding along the east coast of Japan (that is further out than the above graphic shows), although Taiwan, mainland China, North Korea and South Korea should pay very close attention to this dangerous storm as the actual path may vary. The current forecast has the storm pass very close to Tokyo as well as the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
